Yours truly

If i had to talk about me, summarising me in a single word would have to be a "bookworm". I'm one of those who find worlds to explore in the pages of fiction novels (be it good or bad, hardcopy or soft, indian or foreign). The only form of books that i run away from are autobio's of people. (somehow grim reality and flight of a pheonix is not my style)

I buy books more often than I buy clothes and shoes (and trust me, I buy a LOT of shoes)... Currently, I own some odd 200+ books, mostly stored at my mom's coz I couldn't travel with all of them overseas. and I'm forever in search of new authors and books to download in my Kindle...

Reading is much more than a hobby for me... its a lifestyle. I read when I travel; I read when I'm not travelling, at home, at office, at functions, while i'm attending a meeting.. I read, I read and I read...

As a side effect to this much reading, I also write down my thoughts on the books. The good, the bad and the ugly. I can fall in love with an author and write pages in his tarif.. and then when i dont like the next of his/her book, I can write passages for clinically analysing why I did not like it. My reading and writing is the only solace I get from the busy life of a SAP consultant. I'm not officially trained to be a reviewer but I suppose self-training is sometimes more important than the degree.

I also help authors (aspiring at the least) with initial reviews and proof-reading. I'm a freelance reviewer for manuscripts and would love to know if anyone needs my help in refining their written work. (All I would need in return is a promise of good story and acknowledgement)
